Discusses the integration of the Theory of Change (ToC) with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in impact-oriented research, particularly in fostering social change and transformative youth experiences. ToC emphasizes not only determining whether interventions are effective but also understanding the methods that lead to desired outcomes. Planning for M&E, a critical component for youth education transformation, involves setting clear goals, flexible strategies, and maintaining communication with educators while documenting progress and areas for improvement. Data collection relied on cost-effective email surveys and in-depth focus groups via MS Teams. Findings highlighted challenges like balancing work-life commitments and time management for students developing competencies alongside academic work, underscoring the importance of applying theory to practice for a transformative learning experience. Keywords include evaluation, experience, learning, participation, and transformation.
