More than a
The International Experiential Learning Network comprises a diverse community of NGOs, institutions, trainers, teachers, and researchers hailing from twelve countries. As the governing body, IELN is responsible for establishing, coordinating, and sustaining this collaborative network.
At IELN, we recognize the importance of expertise and the power of research. To that end, we maintain our esteemed Pool of Trainers and Researchers. Through their collective efforts, our members actively contribute to the advancement of experiential learning.
The initiative started in 2012 as an informal network named DeM International by mainly youth organizations who have been cooperating within EU Youth Programs.
A unique training of trainers program was designed and implemented based on the synthesis of Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory and Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed.
