This study focuses on the significance of learning styles in the teaching-learning process, emphasizing their impact on students’ attitudes, expectations, and academic success. Grounded in Kolb’s Experiential Learning Model, which shifts learning from rote memorization to critical thinking and decision-making, the research highlights the benefits of tailoring teaching methods to students’ learning styles. Kolb’s Learning Style Inventory offers a framework for educators to design more effective courses, particularly for Generation Y and Z students who favor interactive and technology-based learning. The study aims to identify the experiential learning styles of 1029 students at Başkent University School of Health Professions. Data will be collected via a socio-demographic questionnaire and Kolb’s Learning Style Inventory-III, with analysis conducted using SPSS. Results are expected to enhance teaching effectiveness, facilitate knowledge retention, and provide guidance for curriculum development, particularly in applied fields like health, where attitude and behavior formation are critical.
